The Alternativa3D graphics engine is designed to display 3D graphics in a Flash Player environment and supports high-end, low level 3D APIs Molehill. This grants the engine to use the GPU to render high-poly graphics with modern special effects right in the browser window and on social networks. The supported effects include shadows, lighting, particle systems, post-effects, along with a number of other effects. Alternativa3D 8 has the capability to display over 3,000,000 polygons on the screen. It also supports pixel and vertex shaders.
